Corporate Prayer For Israel

The last day of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is a day known as the last great day.  Shemini Atzeret as it is known in Hebrew, represents the Millennium when we will Tabernacle with Jesus (Yeshua) for 1,00 years.  The 8th day in Hebrew represents the new heaven and the new earth, eternity.

On this day this year, we saw a horrific class of evil against humanity and the Jewish people.  I won’t go into all of the details here, but it was barbaric and satanic.  A level of evil we haven’t seen on this scale in Israel since the Yom Kippur War.  The fact that this event took place on a day that God calls set apart means it is significant to the prophetic timeline.  At this point, it has shown no signs of resembling the Ezekiel 38-39 war that many are looking so eagerly towards.

The Ezekiel 38-39 war is commonly thought of by many looking to prophecy as futuristic to be the last war of Israel.  It must include invasions from the North.  To date there are chances and threats to the North but nothing substantial has happened, so we must remain balanced in all prophetic prophecies and mindless genealogies (Titus 3:9).  We also know if you hold to a futuristic mentality of prophecy the one marker that for sure tells us of the return of Jesus is the Abomination of Desolation.  This includes an altar that is functioning and then shut down.  To date, this isn’t even on the radar.

I said all of that to pull the focus back to where it should be right now.  There are brothers and sisters in the promised land of Israel who are hurting, who are scared, who have lost loved ones, and now who will avenge the blood of those murdered at the hands of terrorists.  This is a time of prayer, support, and crying out to God.

The Church Must pray for Israel!

Zechariah 2:8- “For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye

Isaiah 60:12- “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.

Psalm 122:6- “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!  “May they be secure who love you.”

Numbers 24:9- “He crouched, he lay down like a lion and like a lioness; who will rouse him up? Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”

Isaiah 54:17- “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.

Psalm 121:4- “Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

God has a history of hearing the cries of His people and providing salvation.  The Exodus at Passover, throughout the Prophets, and ultimately the Greater Exodus of the cross with the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I don’t care if you are a Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Catholic, Messianic Jew, Non-Denominational, or any of the others out there, now is a time to unite in prayer.

I am calling on HFF and any other believer or church who wants to join for fasting and prayer until the bloodshed is over.

In Judaism there are three daily prayers:

  • Morning Prayer (Shacharit)

  • Afternoon prayer (Minchah)

  • Evening Prayer (Arvith or Maariv)

These three daily prayers harken back to the three main daily services that were done in the Temple of Yahweh.  The morning and afternoon represented the Tamid offerings and the evening one was the sacrificial parts that were burned on the altar every evening.

I am calling on HFF to stand with me and Israel in calling on El Olam (The Everlasting God) to show Himself mighty as El Shaddai (God is Strength) protect, and avenge those innocent lives lost, and protect the innocent lives from more harm.  That Adonai will work a miracle and only He will be able to get the praise and the glory.

I am asking you to join me in prayer at 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM daily in corporate prayer until the war is over.
