Sabbath, Jesus, and OKC

Church Family,

We have steadily reached 73% of our building fund, and we are so grateful for each of you who has sacrificed to help change the trajectory of our church family. Please continue sharing our vision—there are still people who can partner with us in this journey!

Our first service in the new facility will be February 28. As we transition, here are a few temporary adjustments:

  • For the first month, all kids and youth classes and table fellowship after service will be postponed while renovations are completed. These will return soon.

  • We will now stream exclusively on our YouTube channel, discontinuing Facebook and other platforms.

  • Please do not allow drinks in the sanctuary for children for now, as we want to steward our new carpeted space well. The pews also won’t be terribly forgiving with any colored liquids.

The property will be undergoing ongoing work and cleaning. On the northeast side, there is a creek with about a 15-foot drop. Until fencing is installed, children should not be in that area, and they should not run freely in the parking lot. This has never been an issue before—let’s continue to keep everyone safe.

During renovations, worship will include more acoustic elements. For some this will be a change, but let’s remember that worship is ultimately a posture of the heart, not a musical preference. Also, please note that areas with equipment, cables, offices, and rooms behind the stage are off limits to non-staff and children.

We’ll be holding services while renovating and improving the facility, and we truly appreciate your patience. God has already blessed us beyond measure, and we trust He will continue the good work He has begun.

Mark your calendars: February 28 at 10:30 AM — our first service in the new facility! We’re counting down the days.

Blessings,
Pastor Chris
