Update on the Building

‍Family,

In less than 30 days, we’ve witnessed an incredible transformation at our new church home. So many of you have shown up for workdays, stopped by unexpectedly to lend a hand, or connected us with businesses to help reduce costs—and it has made all the difference. This church family knows how to make things happen!

Just 17 days ago, we were at $152,000 (76%) of our $200,000 building goal. Today, we’ve climbed to over $158,000 (79%). We are steadily moving forward, and every gift—big or small—matters. We ask that you prayerfully consider what Jesus would have you give as we continue toward the finish line. You can also help by sharing our mission with your friends, family, and on social media. There are many moving parts right now with renovations, church growth, and upcoming projects. Here’s a quick update:

Completed Projects

·       Sanctuary painted and updated

·       Nursing mothers’ room refreshed

·       Women’s bathroom updated

·       Lobby painted and improved

·       Old building demolition completed

·       Exterior lighting upgraded on both buildings

·       New signage installed

·       Creek line cleared of debris and trees

·       Broken HVAC units removed (old building)

·       Water runoff areas cleaned

·       Bushes removed from front of old building

·       Structural piers installed in new building

·       Property cleaned of trash

·       Hand dryers installed in bathrooms

·       HVAC condensate leaks repaired

·       Pews removed to create space for worship/dance

·       Postcards sent to surrounding neighbors

·       Youth group moved to Wednesday nights onsite

·       “Building Blocks” relocated to new facility

Projects in Progress

·       Pressure washing both buildings

·       Removing raised concrete walkway (old building)

·       Painting trim on new building

·       Installing sound in bathrooms, lobby, and exterior

·       Adding photocells to exterior lighting

·       Developing HVAC plan for old building

·       Installing ceiling lighting rigging

·       Upgrading wireless mic system

·       Installing wide-room camera

·       Creating custom lobby artwork

·       Clearing brush and limbs from back property

·       Installing creek fencing

·       Staining existing fences

·       Repairing parking lot lights

·       Fixing fence by old building

·       Asbestos Remediation from Old Building

·       Wall Removal and re-frame in Old Building

·       Spray Foam insulation Old Building

·       All new interior lighting building

·       All new electrical wiring old building

·       All new HVAC rework and install

·       Resurface concrete floors

·       Install classroom flooring

·       Update bathroom vanities

·       Install new windows

·       Close Pastors office HVAC and brick exterior of that previous location

·       Fix porch and stabilize

·       Install new glass entry doors

·       Run all networking, lighting, audio, visual cabling

As we move into the next phase of major renovations and rebuilding, expenses will increase quickly. We humbly ask for your continued support so we can move forward without delay and steward this opportunity well. We’ll be hosting a family meeting in April to share updates on finances, growth, and upcoming gatherings and outreach efforts in our community.
